 Lotus E23 unmounted turning vanes
Lotus E23 with a kiel probe array mounted behind the front wheel, note the mechanic with his hand on that now mounted turning vane
McLaren MP4-30 - note the use of a Y150 winglet, something the team haven't used during race conditions this season
Williams FW37 - Susie Wolff at the wheel, using all of the pre-Austrian GP parts, although she has a winglet mounted ahead of the rear wheel that couldn't be used under normal conditions (it's illegal)

 Mercedes W06 rear end detail
Williams FW37 - Here I have highlighted the elements added by Williams, green = side skirt which is both an extension of the horizontal floor section and a vertical section.  Meanwhile, yellow = a two tier winglet which will displace the airflow around the rear tyre.  Neither fit within the current regulations but could be either a test by the team for the Strategy Group / TWG as investigation for the 2017 regulation changes or the team have used these as an experiment to assess the impact of changes that the team may be working on that will replicate similar airflow structures.  I will endevour to find out which of these is true.

  1. Great pics as always. I take it youre hiding away the FI pics for a seperate article? It looks like a very interesting car, especially the nose and uber tight rear end!
